Orkney Island Council Pier Repairs

Our civils dive team have continued their programme of pier repairs around Orkney with the latest pier completed being Shapinsay.

The following pictures show our diver in the water, welding repair sections.

Hole in steel pile and stone backfill. Area to be cleaned and patch repair fitted followed by anodes to prevent further corrosion.
