Controlled from a container like a standard excavator, the Scout is ideally suited to anchoring cages, installing heavy moorings and completing subsea bolt installations.
Beyond these core functions, the Raptor Scout can be adapted for a variety of underwater missions depending on the installed tools and equipment.
The Scout is an important step towards more integrated remote and autonomous offshore operations, particularly supporting subsea dredging and intervention activities where commercial divers may traditionally have been required – improving safety, reducing diver exposure, and progressively shifting more offshore intervention work towards remotely operated tooling.
