The Leask Marine team successfully completed delivery of an offshore oil platform boat landing for Step Change Engineering Ltd to the Beatrice Oil Field.
The C-Odyssey travelled from Kirkwall to the Beatrice ‘Charlie’ platform and laid out a mooring spread, then onto Buckie to pick up the platform ladder where she then transferred it to the platform and assisted with the installation.
Leask Marine was contracted by CHAP Civil Engineering to carry out multiple trips with plant, machinery and materials from Orkney to Fair Isle to support a turbine construction project on the island.
The Leask Marine team co-ordinated with the client and multiple suppliers across the UK to arrange and store supplies at our premises and to deliver within the required timetable to meet the project build schedule.
The loads included an 8 tonne digger, 3 tonne tipper truck, transformers, accommodation units, compressors and 400 tonnes of aggregate.
