Leask Marine attain DNV-GL approved service supplier accreditation

Leask Marine Leask Marine have achieved the internationally recognised “Certificate of Approval of Service Supplier” for In-Water Surveys of ships and mobile offshore units by DNV-GL, to support visiting cruise vessels, freight vessels, Mobile Offshore Drilling Units.

After being audited and providing satisfactory practical demonstrations of the services Leask Marine have been recognized by DNV-GL as a Service Provider which RINA surveyors may rely on to make decisions affecting classification or statutory surveys.

Douglas Leask, Managing Director of Leask Marine said on the accreditation “We are delighted to achieve this accreditation as DNV-GL are one of the world’s most internationally recognised ship classification organisations, and this accreditation will allow Leask Marine to expand the number of vessels that they can provide in-water services for, as together with our already held accreditation for in-water surveys from Lloyds Register, ABS, and RINA. This accreditation enables Leask Marine to cover most of the world’s maritime classification society’s vessels.”
