Latest Successful Operations

Leask Marine’s team have been busy over the last couple of weeks on local client projects:

For the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) Limited, the Leask Marine team, including our C-Salvor crew, successfully recovered their Accoustic Doppler Current Profiler (ADCP) from the Falls of Warness subsea site to allow maintenance on the equipment. We then successfully redeployed the ADCP to the seabed in position.

For Openhydro Limited at the Falls of Warness, off the island of Eday, the dive team, working off the MV Uskmoor, carried out Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on the Turbine piles to ensure the continued integrity of the platform & system. This was successfully completed by the team in a record time.

Again for EMEC, the Leask Marine team, including our C-Salvor crew, successfully recovered their bespoke Integrated Marine Energy Measurement Platform; a seabed “pod” designed to measure a variety of paremeters in high tidal flows.
