Highland Park Whisky Naming for New Multi Cat C‑Trojan

Highland Park Whisky Naming for New Multi Cat C‑Trojan

Leask Marine Ltd’s new Multi Cat 3113 got off to the best possible start at her naming ceremony last week. Instead of the usual champagne, C-Trojan received her name with a bottle of Orkney’s finest – Highland Park whisky.

Naming a vessel with Highland Park is something of a tradition at Leask Marine – which, like the distillery, is based in the town of Kirkwall, Orkney. As the bottle broke against the hull, guests on the quayside were treated to the sweet scent of the whisky’s signature fruity, floral bouquet.

C-Trojan – an appropriate name for such a versatile workhorse – was named by Karen Leask, wife of company CEO and founder Douglas Leask.
