Dive Technician Vacancy

Part time or Full Time Permanent.

Competitive salary based on experience: Scottish Living Wage Employer.

Location is Kirkwall.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen as Leask Marine are expanding our team and are looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and ambitious diving technician with maintenance and repair technician experience to join our commercial diving operations team.

The key focus of this role is the day to day responsibility for overseeing and carrying out repairs, overhauls, maintenance and upgrades on a wide range of air diving systems equipment, ensuring that the work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Essential skills:

  • Kirby Morgan Maintenance & Repair Technician Training
  • Knowledge of Diving Industry Standards and legislation
  • Flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list
  • Detail oriented and accurate
  • Self-motivated
  • Articulate and a good communicator
  • Proficient in using a computer (especially Word, Excel and MS Office)
  • Ensure that equipment maintenance is carried out in accordance with company procedures and manufacturers guidelines
  • Diving Equipment repair, maintenance and testing of a wide range of fixed and mobile equipment within the relevant asset equipment inventory
  • Full service and traceability preventative maintenance recording of all equipment
  • Maintain a safe place of work

The work is mainly office based in Kirkwall, however you will be expected from time to time to attend projects across the UK, and to be available on site or vessels during project operations if required.
