C-Chariot Operations in Orkney

The C-Chariot has been busy preparing a cassion barge at Lyness for Orkney Islands Council to complete full installation of the barge at the Barrier 2, to assist in alleviating the wave ferocity at the barrier.

The barge is basically a hollow cellular concrete reinforced gravity base structure that is designed to be used for similar projects where they are brought into place and temporarily or permanently sunk.
