The dive teams have had a busy all week on pier and harbour repairs around the Orkney Islands before the winter is really upon us.

Scapa Pier Repairs Nov 2015 SKOG Vessel repairs

The cargo vessel SKOG carrying paper got into difficulties by taking on water west of the Orkney islands and was taken under tow into Kirkwall. The MV Chariot and a civils dive team carried out emergency underwater repairs over two days that allowed power to be restored to the vessel.
