Leask Marine currently have an exciting opportunity available based in Orkney:

Mechanical Fitter

• Permanent Position
• Competitive salary

The role involves overseeing the plant checks and repairs, ensure safety and availability of plant in good working order. The general tasks are to be able to plan and identify what items are required for works. The successful candidate must have a can-do attitude and able to work alone and as part of a team. Plant and machinery include vehicles, marine equipment, and operating workshop & yard plant.

The post holder will work and integrate within a range of engineering and operations teams and take an active part in the operations on a day to day basis.

Key skills:

Previous experience with Plant equipment is essential, and you will be required to be flexible, punctual, organised, friendly and helpful to a changing list.
