Holding Station on SME at Emec SME has signed a long term contract with the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) to build a platform array in the Orkney Islands. Leask Marine have been providing vessels and diving personnel to support initial sub-sea drilling operations for anchoring points for the device. Leask Marine are due to install the device this summer and are about to start sub-sea cable operations.
