Leask Marine Prepare for Tocardo Installation

Leask Marine is preparing to assist the Dutch Tidal Energy Company, Tocardo International B.V. in installing their EMEC’s grid-connected tidal test site at the Fall of Warness in Orkney. This installation is part of the InToTidal project that benefited from €2 million via the European Commission’s funding program Horizon 2020 in June 2016. Operations are due to run from the 4th to 31st of March 2017. Leask Marine is proud to support EMEC and this innovative and successful marine renewables company in testing their device in some of the most extreme conditions possible.
