Quantity Surveyor & Estimator

The role involves liaising with all teams within Leask Marine and supporting the Managing Director, in the planning, supply chain, management and measurement of estimating, tendering, on-the job cost management of projects.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor & Estimator to join our marine engineering team working on a range of marine construction projects. The post holder will work and integrate within a range of engineering and operations teams and take an active part in the operations on a day to day basis.

Key skills:

This fulfilling role will engage you through the entire project lifecycle from initial tendering, project delivery to final account negotiations. Prepare estimates and tender documentation, contract commercial documentation, taking off accurate and complete quantities, producing outline programmes, building up fully detailed labour, material, plant and sub-subcontractor rates.

You’ll need to be organised, friendly and helpful, flexible and able to prioritise a changing to do list, self-motivated, articulate and a good communicator, and able to work in a team.
